Following the continued success of Nemi’s DRT taxi service in the Sierra Norte de Madrid, we have launched another DRT taxi service together with the Diputación de Palencia in central Spain.

The service will provide a much needed mobility solution that will interconnect numerous small villages with essential services and transport hubs for the elderly and local residents without access to a private vehicle.

Specifically the service will connect 142 hamlets and settlements across 45 villages. The area has severe mobility challenges as it is sparsely populated with an average population density of 11 inhabitants/sq KM.  Given the less tech-savvy population, trips can be booked either by telephone or on the Nemi user app.
